Screened at the Connecticut Film Festival, THE BLUE ISLAND tells the story of Serge Viallelle, the man who introduced whale watching to the Azores islands in the 1980's as an alternative industry to whale hunting. Now, tourism is growing at an unsustainable rate, and Serge worries about the future of the islands. Produced, directed, co-shot, and edited by me.
